Did you know that eating every 2 to 3 hours helps you lose weight quicker?
At the end of the day, your goals should always include overall wellness. No matter how much weight you lose or sleep you get, if you’re not well, you’re doing something wrong. While you may already understand such a basic principle, chances are you’re missing a central component of it.
Yes, diet and nutrition is very important, but so is how often you eat, which is where many people go awry. You or someone you know has probably, at one time or another, taken on a diet plan and with the best of intentions, gone without food for several hours. Many pat themselves on the back for making it half a day without a meal. Some, unfortunately, even go for as long as a day or more.
Unfortunately, this is about the worst thing you can do for your diet, your metabolism, your health and your overall wellness. Also, it will do you absolutely no favors where fat loss is concerned.
So, what happens when you skip meals? Your metabolism becomes confused and it stops and starts and then stops again. The truth of the matter is that you should be eating three whole meals a day and about two snacks in between. Basically, when your metabolism begins telling you you’re hungry, it’s doing so for a reason. Your body isn’t trying to trick you, so feed it. Just be sure you’re giving it the right foods to fuel you weight loss goals.
Starving yourself is never the answer. Not only will you gain weight, your overall wellness suffers because of anxiety, stress and the early symptoms of starvation will begin to take place. If you want to lose weight all you have to do is eat healthy and exercise regularly, that’s it, there is no magic pill and starvation will definitely not do the trick. That’s why its important to eat more to lose wight!
